Please get out your SSR book and find your DRL (white sheet) and begin to write your prediction for today and start reading your text on the page number where you left off the last time that we read.

Have your Home Read Log out on your desk so that I can stamp it as you are reading.

We will have SSR for the first 15 minutes of class today and then you will be on Reading Plus for the remainder of the period.

3 See Readers= 15 points each so 3 x 15 =     45 points
(Any extra completed SeeReaders at 80% or better will be worth 15 points extra credit!)
3 Read Arounds= 10 points each so 3 x 10 = 30 points
1 i Balance=10 points each so 1 x 10 =          10 points

Total points for this week =                            85 points

HW=Your only homework for this week will be to read something and fill out your Home Read Log.  
You should read something that interests you from home-a novel, newspaper, magazine, article from the internet, your textbooks, a comic book, anything that looks interesting to you!
